Not only did did our Marvin and Lauraine Kuntz family have many wonderful years with Alvin as a son/brother in law, but we pretty well knew him since childhood having been raised in the same community and attending the same elementary and high schools. When he and our sister, Colleen, started dating he not only took her out but would often ask her sisters (me and Bev) to come along as his brother or cousin would sometimes be along. He loved to socialize so the more the merrier for dances and such. Alvin was an absolute star in the way he took care of Colleen in her illness. After she left us he made many trips to Heisler to spend time with our mom, Lauraine, and her sister, Angeline, taking them for shopping and dining. He was always looking for little odd jobs to do for Mom. He loved his children and grandson and was very protective of them and Colleen. The many family dogs didn't want for attention either! He was so good natured and will be sadly missed. Sending much love to the family.
