With the passing of Uncle Ernie, it marks a sad milestone as he was the last of my many Canadian uncles. My memory of him is filled with his engaging smile, energy and sense of humor. To Rosalie, her boys and their wives, and the large Gignac family all started by Ernie and Rosalie, we extend our deep sympathies. I was pleased to have celebrated some holidays with your families and in the early days my mom was welcomed and included. She enjoyed her chats and chuckles with Ernie and was so thrilled to see Wayne enveloped in the love of the Gignac family. Along came Bodhi and he has always loved his visits with Mim and Pip. A life well lived leaves good memories for those left behind. Ernie is a perfect example of being so loved by so many who will all find comfort in those memories to get through this loss and celebrate Ernie being reunited with his cherished Josette.
