I was saddened to see this obituary for Olga. She is my cousin and I will remember her as a warm and loving person. Although we didn†™t see each other often, when we did, it was like time had never passed.
Our condolences go to her sister Sophie, brother Eugene and all her family.

One of Mom†™s favourite prayers was the prayer of St. Francis.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I must not so much seek to be consoled, as to console
To be loved, as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life
When it came to her family, her friends, her community, Mom lived by these words. She was our hero, our rock, and our ever present source of comfort and encouragement.

What a wonderful person. We got to know Olga and Bill very well when we rented a basement suite from them in 1964-5. I taught school in Ituna that year and Brenda worked in the R,M. office.
Two very special people.
All the best to the family.
