Dear Gejdos Family: It brought deep sadness when I heard of Auntie Maries passing. Have so many wonderful memories of her. Dear Gejdos family. Some of my best memories growing up were the times our families spent together in Fort St. John at Easter time. The incredible meals prepared by Auntie Marie for 2 large families, there always was plenty for everyone. And the care she took putting together our little Easter bowls of candy, showed me even as a kid , how much family meant to her. God bless you dear Auntie Marie, and your loving family. I was lucky enough to be one of Marie's surrogate grandchildren. She was the sweetest lady and we (my brother and I) LOVED our visits at her house, which was often as we lived next door. I remember how excited I would get when she would bake massive batches of doughnuts and would give us the doughnut holes to eat. She played endless card games and would make art crafts with us. She would also take care of us on sick days from time to time (which might have been faked so we could hang out with her). A truly lovely lady and I'm sure her family will miss her warmth. Deepest condolences to you all during this time.

My sincere condolences to the Gejdos family! I remember Mrs. Gejdos going back as far as the early 1970s when we all hung out on her block! Only a few years ago, I had the opportunity to have a wonderful visit with her during her time at the Peace Lutheran Apartments while my Dad also briefly lived there! We shared some laughs and smiles over days gone by! May she Rest in Peace!
