To sister, Tammy, and brother, Tim Teena was a gift to you two, and a better friend you will never have. She was one of a kind, and there will never be another like her. So many of my childhood memories are with Teena, we spent countless hours at the mall, having sleepovers and hanging out at each others house. I remember in kindergarten we had a Teddy Bear Picnic, Teena and we couldnt stop talking during quiet time so we had to go sit in the hall - I was mortified and she was so cool. Teena was my best friend. This has been the hardest thing to write because how do you condense 30+ years of friendship into a few words?We met when I was 14 yrs old and we were inseparable from then on. Throughout high school we went through all the stages together, we were hippies and spray painted my car with peace signs and trees, then we were metal heads and spray painted my car black. We enjoyed parties at the Pit, Frozen John and the Beatton River. We suntanned in her back yard, head banged to Metallica and played pool in her basement. We were connected at the hip. You wouldn't find one without the other.I was a year younger than Teena so when she graduated, I quit high school and we moved to Vancouver together, where we briefly lived in my car. We met friends for life at the Ivanhoe and had so many adventures together. We went to so many concerts and never missed a Metallica show. We travelled to Cancun, Las Vegas and Miami. We basically did everything together. It was the Teena and Lynn show for life. She was my ride or die and I was hers. She loved passionately. She was so devoted to her daughter Olivia and would go to the end of the earth to give her the best life possible. It was truly inspiring. Teena was my family and my love and support are with Elsie, Tim, Tammy and Olivia.I find solice in knowing that Teena is no longer suffering. She will always be my angel and fierce protector from the other side. Rest peacefully and until we meet again my bestie, Teena Danshin I love you.

It was so sad to hear of Teena's passing. I knew Teena when I lived in Fort St. John - first as Tammy's little sister then as a friend. Although we lost touch over the years, I have fond memories of hanging out at the Danshin house and later at Tammy's place, watching baseball games in Taylor and playing Skipbo. Her bright eyes, lovely smile and big heart won't be forgotten. Deep condolences to the Danshin family.

Teena, you are loved by so many as you loved so many; I will miss our adventures with the girls. The phone calls on navigating the world as a Mom, hearing your joy when you got to share Olivias success. You loved life and loved adventures. Your laugh would light up a room, and you were always ready to tackle the next big challenge. Your dedication and fire were never outmatched. You fought hard, you loved hard, and you played hard. Oliva, your mom, loved you with every ounce she had; you were her world. She would never shy away from something new or challenging.
