I am so glad that Don and I spent a little time together a few days before he passed. I hadn't seen him for some time, but gave him a call and we spent a portion of the afternoon together. Enjoyed talking about the things in common such as seeing the same grizzly bear with cubs. Our exciting memories of outdoor experiences; I think we both thoroughly enjoyed the time. At that time, he felt confident that his health was improving so I was so surprised to hear the news. Our heart is with your whole family as you go through this transition. We have found in our own losses that you will remember the good times and words in many quiet moments.

It's a sad time for the Masonic Family including the Order of the Eastern Star. We were looking forward to May when he would have been installed as our Worthy Grand Patron. I enjoyed his Honour Day last year, meeting his family and hearing how proud his sons were of their father. I haven't know him long but I, too, will miss Don. He was a true gentleman. My condolences to his family.

Heartfelt condolences to Dustin & Nadine, Shane & Corinne, Lisa & Tom, Dan & Laura and Families. Don was a very kind and generous man to all. Im so happy that he and Mary had many recent years together to enjoy their common interests. We had so much fun at the BC Hydro retiree functions over the years!
