Obituary of Malcolm Donald and Marilyn Inga Campbell

Obituary It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the death of Malcolm Donald Campbell on June 2, 2023, and the death of Marilyn Inga Campbell on June 10, 2023, in Penticton, BC. There are no words to express the depth of our sorrow. Don was born in Fort St. John, BC on January 3, 1942 to Colin and Anne Campbell, and Marilyn was born in Vernon, BC on October 30, 1944 to Roy and Evelyn Johnson. Don and Marilyn met in Fort St. John when Marilyn moved to the Peace after high school, and they were married in 1965. They spent the next 40 years in Fort St. John raising their two daughters, Shari-Lynn and Christy, pursuing their careers, giving back to the community, and making countless friends along the way. In 2006, Don and Marilyn left the north and relocated in Okanagan Falls where they soon made new friends, reconnected with old ones, and became part of the music and volunteer community of the South Okanagan. There's nothing that Don and Marilyn enjoyed more than a gathering of friends and family, so we are hosting an informal celebration/get-together to honour their lives. Please join us to share memories, play music (bring your instruments!) and celebrate Don and Marilyn at the Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in honour of Don and Marilyn to one of the following charities.
