It is with terrible sadness that I offer my sincere condolences to Carol and family. Dave was a unique person and his smiling face is embedded in my memory forever. We spent countless hours together either driving to the Gouin or in the boat sharing our love for fishing. These are memories that I will cherish. My most sincere condolences on Dave's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Dave at PWGSC from about 2003 to 2009. He and I spent countless hours working on a request for proposal for the AFD group. He was patient, kind and knowledgeable. In six years we never had a cross word between us and I admired his work ethic and morals. The obituary certainly captures the essence of the man and I can think of no finer tribute to a wonderful human being.

My sincere condolences to Carol and family. We worked together for many years in different government departments. We worked hard and played hard. We shared the same passion for fishing and enjoyed a lot of trips. I am grateful for all the time we spent together. He will always be in my mind.
