My beloved brother-in-law and brother in life, if not in blood. A gentle soul who was genuine and unapologetic and lived a life that was original and unconventional, yet always welcoming. Farewell for now, dear one. Happy reminiscences of good times past will help us shoulder the pain of your loss until we meet again. Love always. Kaks.

Jerry was more than an uncle, he was like a father to me, especially during my childhood. Many skills that I developed through my life were because of him. Jerry was kind, helpful and had patience to teach me how to use tools to build things, drive tractors, stack wood and run a chainsaw. Even though I was very young I have fond memories of the beautiful log home he built, and all the wildlife that would visit. I could always rely on Jerry being home If I wanted to stop in and chat. No matter how busy he may have been he would stop what he was doing and say "come inside, don't let the bugs in, sit down, can I get you a coke?" Jerry you will be truly missed and forever in our hearts. With love from your nephew.
