He was born on January 22nd, 1959, in Windsor, Ontario, to his parents Roy and Theresa Dancey. Brother to Dann Dancey and his lovely wife Karen, Debra Dancey, Dawn (2015) and Bob Bulmer. Uncle to Michael and Tania Bulmer, Patrick and Rachel Bulmer, Erin Dancey, Devin and Natalie Dancey, Sara and Mark Coletti, and Steven and Jennifer St. Louis. Great Uncle to Jack and Cooper Bulmer, Eva and Damon Dancey, Georgia and Charleigh Clanansmith, Nolan and Rowan Coletti, and Maximus and Paige St. Louis. Great Uncle to Alessandra, Margaret and James. Dean was a private person but was always content with his wife, Sandra, by his side. He was a child at heart and loved the little things in life. As a younger man, he enjoyed wood-working and leather carving. Dean attended St. Vincent Primary School, Herman Highschool, and later went on to attend St. Clair College for higher education. He worked as a Canada Post mail clerk for many years and was well-respected by his colleagues. During his declining years, Dean enjoyed passing the time playing computer mystery games and word games. He will be remembered for his love of life’s simple pleasures. He loved to get on his little mobility scooter and head to Blue Heron Lake, where the geese and ducks would flock around him for the feed he would toss them. Those who wish to honor Dean’s memory can make contributions to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Hospice. Rest in peace, Dean. You will be missed.
