Obituary of Diane Joan Muchesna

Diane Joan Muchesna June 25, 1937 - June 2, 2023 It is with sadness that the family of Diane Joan Muchesna announce her passing on Friday June 2, 2023. Diane was born on June 25, 1937 to William and Mary Morszczyzna, and was predeceased by her sister Jean (2022). She is survived by her cousins Richard and Laura Ives, Carolyn Bruyere, Gloria Achrem, Dolly Lukas, Wayne Morse and niece Rachel Rivard (Tim). Early in her life, Diane was a loving “nanny” to her younger cousins. Diane was a long-time resident of Walkerville and worked for over 35 years as a secretary in the purchasing department of the GM Transmission plant. She will be remembered as a kind, smart and loving woman. She had a zest for life and lived it fully. She travelled to many destinations and had wonderful stories to tell of her adventures. Diane’s love of nature was abundant with the beautiful garden that she nurtured. Driving through the county for flowers, fresh vegetables and fruits from Essex County was a favourite pastime. Over the years she made many furry friends with a quick treat and cuddle. She will be remembered by her friends, Kathy Korenich, Barb Lam, Sandee McCarthy, Barb Dottor, Jeff and Lesley Wilkinson, Keith and Kristine Wilkinson (William) and Leah and Max Arvidsson as well as many neighbours. A Grave Side Service will be held for Diane on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., at Heavenly Rest Cemetery 5005 Howard Avenue Windsor, Ontario. A luncheon reception will follow the service.
