Thank you Dana. Yes! Todd had painted in very large letters - I Love You Joy on the concrete of a room prior to carpeting. It was a delight to find it, making me smile and filling my heart while dealing with a flood. A great memory!! Thank you.

Todd was always a friendly face from Caseware when we exhibited at accounting tradeshows across Canada. I had the pleasure of meeting him when I was a Caseware instructor in Alberta around 2000.
He remained a good friend over the years and I will miss seeing the amazing photos of his latest diving expedition.

My sincerest condolences to Joy and all Todd's loved ones. My Firm uses CaseWare, and I've worked closely with Todd on various matters over the years. He's patiently answered my questions and always offered a listening ear. He had the most kind and genuine heart. He always made me feel welcome at CW conferences, initiating introductions and creating connections.
He shared the best stories of travel, diving, and one about carpet where he had written "I love you Joy" on the concrete before the flooring was laid that you didn't discover until he was out of town and you were tearing out the carpet due to water damage... I may not remember the details completely, but I just loved that story of his hidden & timely message for you. :)
I will dearly miss his calming presence and sense of humor. I continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers, Joy!!

Gone too soon...Todd, I've known you ever since I joined CW back in 2017. But only just started working directly under your leadership a few months back. During this time, you became my mentor, my confidant and a friend. I still remember how you would show me your next vacation spot on Google maps. God, I wish this was a dream! Your absence has left a void both professionally and personally. You were, are and always will be the one person who personified 'Everything Caseware'. I recall well my first day at the company when I was briefly assigned to Todd's office. As I was settling in, Todd burst through the door, his infectious joy flooding the room. His warm grin and inviting manner quickly put me at ease, and I knew t I was in the presence of someone special.
Todd had an unusual capacity to spread delight wherever he went. His warmth, friendliness, and unshakable drive made him a beloved coworker and real friend to many. His upbeat attitude was contagious, and he had an amazing capacity to elevate our spirits even on the darkest days.
Todd, I hope you find peace. Your memory will forever be a guiding light for us, reminding us to live each day with passion, kindness, and a smile.

It is never easy to lose such an incredible human being no matter the age or circumstances. My sincere condolences to family & friends of Todd. We collaborated on several projects and he was always appreciative of the work that my team and I do and one of our very vocal, champion supporters. Todd was one of the first people I started working with at Caseware, and he patiently helped me through the nuance of the day to day. We became fast friends.
Todd was always very encouraging and so positive about everything, even in the midst of all the changes Caseware was going through.
I wish I had been able to spend more time with Todd outside of work, but he made the time we did spend together very enjoyable. I will miss Todd greatly, as will everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.

I'm so saddened to hear of Todd's passing. I met Todd when I joined Plante Moran almost 5 years ago, and he instantly became a friend. We enjoyed many chats about his diving trips, the remodel of his back yard, and a trip he took long ago to Sault Ste. Marie, MI and the bar "The Back Door". I will miss him. I met Todd when he instructed a course for the company I worked for in 1995. We kept in touch over the years as I worked within the same industry as he did and even worked within the same organization for a time. I was fortunate to have met him a few times in my professional travels. I always found myself in a good mood in his company. He had a quiet humor and kind heart. There was a time when I was having a difficult situation and Todd listened and offered his advice. I will never forget you Todd. I am so sorry and extend my condolences to Joy and your family. My sincerest condolences to Joy and to all of Todd’s family. I work for a firm who uses CaseWare. I’ve known Todd since about 2007. Todd taught me pretty much everything I know about CaseWare. He was a not only a professional colleague, but also a mentor, a teacher, and a dear friend. Todd always went above and beyond to do whatever was necessary to help to make things “right”.
