It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lance Marten Graff, a longtime resident of Willow Valley, British Columbia, on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the age of 77 years. Lance was born Tuesday, April 3, 1945 in New Westminster, British Columbia. He was the sixth of ten children born to Edwin and Florence Graff. Lance was a contractor and logger who worked for forestry and highways for many years. He was also a farmer and true outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, drive quads, and operate heavy machinery. Lance was survived by his sons Lloyd, Trevor, and Stacy Graff; grandchildren Darcy Barnes, James, Nicole, Nathan; great-grandchildren Ethan, Oscar, Jett, Parker; siblings Ardeth, Gordan, Bernice, Merle, Don, Robyn, Edie; as well as many nieces and nephews. Lance was predeceased by his wife Kathy Graff; son Kerry Graff; parents Edwin and Florence Graff; brother Raymond; and sister Eunice. We are not saying goodbye, as we will meet again. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no once can steal. Just know that he will be forever in our hearts. A Funeral Service for Lance will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 1:00pm from Reynars Funeral Chapel. Dr. Michael Stark will officiate. Interment to follow in Willow Valley Cemetery.
