I first met Jim in the late 1980s when he set up a business in Mississauga. I worked as his bookkeeper until he closed the company but always kept in touch with each other. I will miss his jokes sent to a group of us. I last spoke with Jim in March to wish him a happy birthday. I was away for April and going to call him in May to catch up. I am so sorry I didn't make that call. We have made a donation to Erie Shores Hospice in his memory.

I only knew Jim for a few years as a neighbour and golfer at Erie Shores golf club. He seemed to have had a great life by his stories. He was always coaching me on the golf course, to get that straight drive. It was a pleasure knowing him. Condolences to his family. A long life lived well!

I will miss my friend and neighbour very much. The many great times together will always be great memories. Our just talking in his rec room, visits to Roma Club for pizza, semi annual trips to Harriston to fill our freezers, weekly visits to Tim Hortons with many friends, his many memories of the past, just too bad he never wrote his biography. He had quite an interesting life. He has left his many tangible collections in good hands as per his wishes. Thank you for being a good friend.
