I will always remember Jim's big smile from behind his thick beard, and his booming salutation, "Hello sir, how are you!" Being friends with Jeff since I was 4 years old, I have known Jim my entire life. I admired his hard work and dedication to his family. I have fond memories of playing hockey and soccer with Jeff, and Jim always being present at the soccer fields and the arena. Robin and Jim worked tirelessly to help run the soccer program in Essex. Jim made the best post-game hot dogs! I appreciated his presence and involvement in our activities. I was honoured to be present with Jim and his family in his final days. We will remember Jim and cherish all the fond memories. Rest in peace, Jim. Sending love and prayers to the entire family.

Jim was definitely a family man. I remember at the baby shower he was so excited to be Grandpa. I feel bad that I didn’t know when he was sick, I could have prayed for him. Anyhow I was proud he was my cousin. He was a hard worker like his dad. Rest in peace my dear cousin. Robin, you & your family have my deepest sympathy & I am so sorry for your loss
