I will miss his comedic wit. Gerard was always one to have the perfect one liner for those "oops" moments. He was always the one to remind us what Dora would think of our mischievous behaviors in our teenage years. I'll never forget digging up your backyard on Lauzon. A year later the city puts in a sewer.

Uncle Gee was a kind man who loved to laugh. My greatest memories of him were growing up playing Sega Genesis in the living room and eating pizza and laughing at ridiculous movies we'd rent and watch. We must have watched Beavis and Butthead Do America 100 times and there's nothing I'd change about that. I know he's looking down at us smiling and I'll think of him always. I take solace in the fact that he's at peace. I love you Uncle Gee.

Gerard was a great guy and such a likeable person. He would always make you laugh! Our thoughts are with you Colleen. He will be missed at our Christmas Eve dinner. He had kindest soul and the biggest heart out of anyone have ever met. Had the sharpest wit and love to tease and joke.
He was never trying to impress anybody and was always himself.
Although his sense of direction would often get us lost. Scenic Routes, were filled with wonderful memories and adventures.
His sense of joy and wonder in discovering how things were made, how they worked and what upturns would make them preform better. We attended numerous demonstrations and open house style events where gizmos and gadgets were plentiful. He truly loved these items that were to make doing things easier and better.
This lead to him creating wonderful meals and desserts, building furniture, making quilts and numerous projects.
His love of crossword puzzles and reading brought him much joy. Music of all kinds and genres. His taste was eclectic.
He loved with his whole heart. He would pitch in wherever needed; driving, babysitting, gardening, siding, flooring, assisting in helping others move without much complaint. The only exception was painting. Claimed they had yet to invent a paint brush to fit his hand.
He willing went to every game, school performance, dance, martial arts and concert any of his nieces, nephews, godchildren or even friends children invited him to.
I am going to miss Gerard, My Gee, more than word’s could possibly describe. I don’t know how I am going to carry on without him but I know he wanted me to try and be happy.
Not only am I going to mis all his good qualities but I will miss his imperfections and flaws. I am going to miss the spilled coffee and the explosions of sewing paraphernalia that would erupt whenever he was working on a project.
He would look and me and smile and say that’s how us creative geniuses work.
Rest in peace my beautiful angel. Gerard your pain is now gone. My heart will be yours always and forever

I mostly remember Gerard as a young kid. I will NEVER forget the day he was hit by a car on the highway, we were lucky he survived that.

To my friend , uncle or father figure it been fun knowing u you were my shrek to my donkey or my SpongeBob to my Patrick but either way you were there when I needed you the most . You where there when I need a friend , you where there to support me in any decision I made. You just want me to be happy . You will always be my friend forever and for always and I will miss u lots. You alway made me smile when I was pissed off or sad. U always made things interesting when traveling with u, considering u tried to race everyone that u past. We used to go to haunted houses and celebrate bdays and learn new patterns for knitting or finding new recipes to try out . We would blame each other for farting.. that was fun times

Q: What will you never forget about Gerard?
