My friend Joan was a lovely woman who was talented in many areas.She was an excellent teacher and that's where I met her.Our husbands bonded as well. We enjoyed playing cards and parties at Joan's house were always so much fun.She and Carlyle then bought a race horse and kept him at Leamington Raceway.Years of racing horses kept her busy. She repaired many jackets and pants for her racing buddies
..Joan could sew anything.I still have one of her wallets. We went to many bingos together.. Her work for the fair board kept her busy also.
I miss Joan and always treasured our friendship over many years.

Mrs. Hope was my kindergarten teacher at Jack Miner in the early 90’s. I remember her being so kind and patient with all of us. I am sorry to hear of her passing, my thoughts are with her family.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs. Hope. I was honoured to have her as an elementary school teacher whereby she encouraged me to achieve my full potential. I had the privilege to have her mentor me one summer at her home. She was a leader to all students to aspire to be their best.
