Obituary of Eliane Christiane Timmermans (nee DeCicco)

TIMMERMANS, Eliane Christiane (nee DeCicco) November 14, 1935 – March 27, 2023 It’s with heavy hearts the family of Eliane Timmermans announces her passing on March 27, 2023 at the age of 87. Cherished and beloved wife to Jean-Marie Timmermans for over 62 years. Adored and dearest mother to Aleia Marie Staschuk (Rory), Anne-Marie Othmer (Mike), and Patricia Brimner (Jim). Proud Grandma/Oma to Joseph (Lee-Ann), Benjamin, Robyn Britney (Geoff), Tristan; Tristen, Branden, Mikayla; and Jesse (Tisha), Adam (Lisa), and Ryan (Sarah), and eleven great-grandchildren. Forever remembered by her sisters Claude Viallet and Michelle DeCicco. Eliane will also be dearly missed by her extended family and many friends. Eliane was a devout Jehovah’s Witness belonging to the Riverside congregation for many years and made many dear lifelong friends, brothers, and sisters. She loved nature, especially birdwatching, wildlife, and watching countless hours of Bob Ross. Eliane was the heart and soul and the rock of the family. Always putting others before herself, she was a gracious and loving woman who will be dearly missed and always remembered by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the entire staff at Extendicare Tecumseh for their incredible compassion and care of Eliane over the last seven months. Thank you to Dr. Ian McLeod for his ongoing care and guidance. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 2:00pm at Kingdom Hall (Riverside Congregation), 6870 Hawthorne Dr, Windsor. This memorial is open to anyone who wishes to attend in-person, by phone, or Zoom in which case a code can be provided upon request. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
