Obituary of Michael Joseph Quinn

Michael Joseph Quinn November 28, 1957-March 11, 2023 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our Dad, Mike Quinn on Saturday March 11, 2023. He slipped peacefully away after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. We are going to miss his unique sense of humour that kept people in perpetual laughter as well as his amazing cooking and legendary grilling skills not to mention tales of the adventures he had and the people he met along the way. Dad was never afraid to show his fierce love for his family and friends. Oh and golf, he lived to play golf and if you were fortunate to have had the chance to play a round with him, then you were well aware of this gift too! Dad loved watching just about any sporting event as an accomplished athlete himself and became a big fan of Lacrosse recently. He also was a huge movie and music buff. Left to mourn are his children Jack and Jessica Quinn, Leah Walter, Jenna Quinn, Dayne Perry and Pops to Spencer and Charlie Walter. Lovingly remembered by Kelly. Mike was the cherished son of Henrietta and Donald Quinn (2012). Dear brother to Tim (1986), Joanne (Jeff), Dan (Jennifer), Jennifer (Doug) and Todd. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Much gratitude and love to the numerous dear friends who cheered Dad on and lifted his spirits often. We are going to miss you forever Dad! We loved you so much and were fortunate to have had the best Dad and cheerleader in the world!! A celebration of Dad’s life will take place at a later date.
