Karen was a special and kind neighbour who always gave to others her warm smiles and positive words. Norm always talked the world of her. The family took care of her well and are beautiful people. She will be greatly missed.

Karen was the big sister I never had. I came to Canada as an immature little 13 year old with very few social skills. Auntie Chris and Uncle Doug introduced me to Karen and Suzie, and their family. They became a very big part of my life. My most memorable event was going to Kitty and Bob’s on a Sunday. After supper we the kids went toDube’s house to watch the Ed Sullivan show. When a new singer came on, the girls went hysterical. Screaming, pounding the furniture and the floor. This was my introduction to teenage life in Canada. Karen, Suzie and their growing families always included Jackie and I in many family events. We will miss Karen a great deal. It has been very special to know her. Love Donnie
