Obituary of John Alexander Devine

DEVINE, John Alexander Our dear eldest brother John passed away on February 25, 2023 at the age of 76. Cherished son of the late Eleanor and Alex Devine. Predeceased by sisters Mary Devine Daubney (David) and Joan Devine Clarke (Bill). Survived by brothers Michael (Sandy) and Dan and sisters Ann Devine Fantin (Wayne) and Cathy. John will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, cousins and lifelong friends. Our heartfelt thanks to the team on 4 Medical at WRH Ouellette. On Saturday March 4, 2023 visitation will be held at St. Alphonsus Church, 85 Park St. E., Windsor after 1:30 pm until the time of memorial Mass at 2:30 pm. Celebrant will be Fr. Maurice Restivo, CSB. The St. Alphonsus Choir in which John sang for many years will sing him to his rest. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements through Simple Choice Cremation Centre. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
