Obituary of Thomas Clark

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Thomas Clark passed away on February 15, 2023. He departed peacefully at the age of 74. Tom was the most devoted husband to Linda, who was the love of his life for over 50 years. Predeceased by his parents Percy Robert Clark and Rose (nee McKinnon). He was the loving father to Ryan and Jesse (Lindsay) and adored brother to Cathy Vankoughnet (Jim), Gail Swain (Grant) and Judith. He will be greatly missed by his good buddies near and far. He was born in Montreal, Quebec and lived there for over 25 years. After years of traveling across Canada, he settled down with his family in Guelph, Ontario before retiring to Leamington with his wife. Tom had an immense passion for music. Growing up he was the lead guitar player in his band called the Shifters. He composed, played and sang his own songs and could always be heard humming and singing while puttering around the house. He had a love for sports, and especially enjoyed cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Canadiens. Tom was always so jovial. His wholesome dad jokes will be remembered and repeated by his sons for many years to come. As per family wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Red Cross. Tom has left a void in our hearts that will be impossible to fill, but we will take comfort in the memories we have created with him.
