Our family will miss our Uncle Jim. Uncle Jim was always steadfast, helpful and would do anything for his family- including his extended family- nieces and nephews and brother and sister in laws. He was an amazing uncle and brother in law… my dad always considered him a good friend, and he was just a phone call away for my mom after my dad passed away. He and Aunt Dianne were wonderful supports for mom. He was also helpful to me when I was living alone. My mom and I would always know we could “call Uncle Jim, he will know what to do”. He fixed my sump pump the day before a huge unexpected rain, he prepped our lawn mower every year, he even worked as a handyman for me at work. He was just that uncle who was quiet but always there. A man of few words but with a big heart and sense of duty and caring. We will miss you Uncle Jim. I am sure God greeted him with “Well done Good and Faithful servant”. Ps. Give Barb a big hug from all of us.

The world has lost such a beautiful soul, our brother-in-law Jim. Always a gentle man and a gentleman, Jim was always ready to help, and was loved by all. Jim was my (Anne-Marie's) hero throughout my first year teaching, saving me a number of times in snowstorms with his 4WD International Scout, and having me live with their family that year. Jim, you will be truly missed but you are now with daughter Barb and so many family members, and you are free to be you once again. Much love and hugs to the family.
