Obituary of Gerald Douglas Morrow

Morrow, Gerald “Jerry” Douglas December 28th, 1947 – February 3rd, 2023 It is with broken hearts that the family of Gerald “Jerry” Douglas Morrow announces his passing with family by his side on February 3rd, 2023 at the age of 75. Beloved husband to Jo-Anne for 56 years, together for 61 years. Cherished father to Patricia (Paul) and David (Candice). Proud Papa to Jake (Rebecca), Jessica (Nate), Dylan, Maddi, and reunited with his grandson Kevin. Adoring Papa to Tanner, Nolan, Alora, and Brookelyn. Loving brother to Bob, Kaileen, Patricia, and reunited with his brother David. Also missed dearly by Brett and Rhonda. Jerry will be fondly missed by his best buddy Brent Jones, which he shares wonderful memories with. Jerry will also be missed by his extended family and friends. Jerry had many hobbies through the years, racecar driving, hunting, fishing, postcard collecting, metal detecting, playing his harmonica and coin collecting. He loved his pet cats through the years, which were a large part of his life. Jerry was known for his exquisite collection of memorabilia which was a conversation piece for everyone. Jerry was able to spend his final days in comfort and dignity at hospice with family and friends. The family would like to thank everyone at Hospice and St. Elizabeth for their wonderful care and compassion. The family asks that people consider donating to Hospice in lieu of flowers. As per Jerry’s request, a private cremation has already been held.
