Obituary of Yvonne Denise Banfill

Yvonne Banfill (Lavallée) Nov 29, 1953 - Jan 30,2023 On Jan 30 2023 Yvonne passed at home with family in the arms of her best friend & husband Keith Banfill. Yvonne & Keith were married for 49 years. Loving mother of son Craig Banfill & spouse Stephanie Coughlin, and daughter Rachel Banfill & partner Nick Alexin. Cherished gramma of Draven Banfill, Keegan & Eirabella (Bee) MacLeod, Dexter and Zeke Banfill Yvonne was the second oldest of 11 siblings brother Wayne and Betty-lou Lavallée, sister Gail and Tom Brown, sister Denise (Vern) McDougall, sister Suzanne Lavallée, sister Lena and Rick Portalance, brother John Lavallée, brother Raymond Lavallée, brother Jack Lavallée, sister Pat Banfill and Shaun Cullen and brother Chip Lavallée, as well as her many brothers in-laws, sisters in-laws and uncles Gui and Mark Gasçon whom she loved all dearly. Known as Aunty Eve to many nieces and nephews. Yvonne valued family greatly and loved to host family parties & BBQ’s. She is greeted on the other side by her mother Denise Dupon (Gasçon). The family would like to thank personal support workers Lisa, Jo and Annette of Paramed, as well as her sisters Gail and Denise for their help and support at home. She is known for her love of gardening, shopping, taking photos, and being an amazing cook. But most of all known for her love of her children and grandchildren. As per Yvonne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation Centre (Wyandotte) 519-254-2585.
