Rick, Al Moes and i went to the St. Clair College pub but could not get in because one of us had to be a student there to sign us in. We were on our way out when Rick turned around and walked back towards the college. He had seen a few girls dropped off on the other side and decided to ask if they could sign us in to the pub. Well, they did but little did i know that one of those girls would one day be my wife Joanne. That summer i started dating Joanne but she always wanted her sister Lise to be with us (chaperone?) anyway Rick agreed to come along as well so i could get some alone time. That didn't work so well but we did go fishing near St. Paul's Pumping station and caught at least 60 perch. We went back to Rick's parents and tried to clean them for dinner but we ended with hardly enough for one person so we ordered pizza - so many memories and so little time to cherish them.

This note is late but not for forgetfullness but for all the times, thoughts and memories i have had with Rick. I have struggled daily in prayer and thought of what would be the appropriate words for my best friend. A man who has always been there in the ups and downs from even before my teenage years. I have written a number of long letters and have really found that even for a big mouth like me - there are no words. I have only my heart felt sadness that i will not see him on this earth again. Please know he will not be forgotten and my family and i will continue to pray for Rick and his family until the day I leave this earth. Thank you Rick for bringing all the music into my life that i would have surely missed if not for you"the music man". God grant Rick His Divine Mercy and lift up his family in the knowledge of one day being reunited again without tears for ever.

We met Rick through an Essex Power programme and were more then pleased to turn our service over to him and his son Justin. We have had many years of association and business dealings, he was great to deal with and very socialable. The last couple of years most of our dealings were with Justin due to Rick's illness.
Our deepest condolences to Justin, his Mom and his sister.

Our Condolences to Karen and the family. There was never a person with greater love and knowledge of music than Rick. I will miss his joy and excitement when he talked able his latest concert or music outing.
