Obituary of Raymond Quenneville
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Raymond (Ray) Paul Quenneville at the age of 79 on January 10, 2023 with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband and best friend to Gina. Proud Daddy to Renée Gombar (Rob), Nicolle (Nicky) Fraser (Derek), Rachel Pinard (Pat). Cherished Pépé/Papa to Jacob, Hannah, Kennedy, Avery, Hailee, Taylor, and Kadyn. Forever remembered by sisters Rochelle (Rocky) Whalen, Denise Desbien and sister-in-laws Mary Reaume (Frank Levi), Theresa Reaume, Maril Reaume, and Linda Doughty. Ray was doggie daddy to Bindi. He will be greatly missed by many other family and friends. Ray was happily retired and resided in Kingsville. Ray enjoyed traveling cross-country with Gina and Bindi in their Roadtrek and spending winters in Arizona with their fellow snowbirds. Ray and Gina met daily with their ‘Coffee Gang’ at the local Timmies and were grateful that their boisterous behaviour did not get them on the 'Do not serve list’! Ray loved watching Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines football, cooking and entertaining, and looked forward to ‘Wine Time’ with Gina. Special thanks to the first responders, ER staff at Erie Shores Healthcare (Leamington) and ICU staff at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus. As per his wishes, cremation will take place. No visitation or funeral service will be held. Internment will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Ray’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (LEAMINGTON), 519-254-2585.
