Obituary of Susanne Lengyel

Lengyel, Susanne (nee Papay) 97 years, on January 2, 2023, at Lifetimes Retirement Home. Cherished wife of the late George (1993). Dear daughter of the late Lajos and Lajosna Papay. Loving mother to James (Theresa), Scott (Dan), Randolph and Andrew. Grandmother to Holly (Matt), Ryan, Claire, and Adam. Dear sister of Madeleine (2022), Agi and Miklos. Aunt to John Harden (Christina) and many others in Hungary. Susanne was a stay-at-home mother and office administrator for her physician husband till his passing in 1993. She then found her calling as she became the first member of Transition to Betterness and was soon operating the comfort cart for many years at Met Hospital until covid prevented her from volunteering at the age of 95. Arrangements have been made through Simple Choice Cremation Centre and a private family ceremony has taken place. ln lieu of flowers, donations to Transition to Betterness would be appreciated.
