Obituary of Joan Baker

Joan was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother during her remarkable 92 years of life. She peacefully passed away at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus in the evening on December 20th, 2022, with her daughter by her side. She has been reunited with her late husband Reginald Baker and her 3 predeceased children: Patricia Armstrong, Marian Bernyk and David Baker. She will be dearly missed by her two daughters and sons-in-law Sheila (Jack) Saltarelli, Margaret (Marcel) Fournier, William Bernyk and her grandchildren; Darrin (Rachel) Hickson, Darlene Hickson, Kaitlyn (Brendan) Boyd, Derek (Vanessa) Bernyk, Sarah (Mark) Metulynsky, Krista Saltarelli, Kendra and Kimberly Bernyk, Miranda, Melissa and Makyla Fournier, as well as numerous friends. May her stories and memories continue to fill the room and our hearts as we share them with her 11 great-grandchildren that she deeply and wholeheartedly loved, as well as all the ones who were unable to meet her. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation (Dougall) 519-254-2585.
