I was so excited when we hired Stuart Bowden to be our first girls prep coach at Gilmour Academy in 2001. It was clear his dad and mom were part of the package. They were at every game, helping out as ever they could. Bill was Stuart's biggest supporter and I know that continued untill his final days. I send my condolences to all who loved this genuine wonderful human. May you find confort in his everlasting love and memories. Rest in peace Bill.

Mr Bowden coached me in baseball when I was a kid. He held me accountable for something at the time, and it always stuck with me. I learned something from him, and I’m grateful for that. Rest easy, Mr B. My best to Billy, Gail, Stacey, and your families.
