Obituary of Nicholas Louis Cohen

Suddenly on December 14, 2022, Nicholas Louis Cohen, aged 77. Belovèd husband to Heather Inksetter. Cherished Dad to Matthew (Jen), Elise (Simon) and Adrian, and to step-daughter Kristen (Andrew). Grandad to Jade, Diego, Esmé, Madeleine, Stella and Arlo. Nick came to Canada from Norwich, Norfolk as a young man. Canada was his home for more than fifty years. He worked for decades as a denturist, primarily in Essex and Windsor, as well as London, Ontario. He had many patients whom he helped and who will remember his skill. Nick had an abiding passion for all things automotive, especially the design and engineering aspects. He was interested in design in general and appreciated visual and technical aspects of everything from tools and clothing, to aircraft. Another interest was modern history, from World War Two on into the Cold War and the decades beyond. Nick took pleasure in cooking, and going on adventures, small and large. He realized late in life that it is fun to drive one of the blue ovals. He came to a late but deep appreciation of cats. Nick’s friends and family will gather to remember him and his extraordinary grip on life at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
