Jean as known to me was a wonderful, considerate and thoughtful friend for many years. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.Jean would translate for me letters from my family in China. We had been to many social functions, and to various restaurants together.She was a gourmet who would do the ordering and she would bring her favourite Chinese tea to share.
She will be greatly missed and our deepest condolences to Prof. Lam and family.
