Our deepest condolences for the loss of Ken. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of our family's time with Ken. He was always so full of life! My love for lakes and watersports is highly attributed to the summer vacations we spent at Lake St. Clair. No matter the occasion, he always took to creating fun with my brothers and me and always with some element of ingenuity and competitive spirit to it. Ken will be dearly missed.

Chuck Knott
Whether it was at his place in Bell River or Florida, a visit to Ken’s was always a plain old good time. From his boats to his stories to tell, the experience was always unique and we always could count on a good belly laugh. We always looked forward to trips to Canada or to Florida from the time before our three boys were born till they were beyond high school. It was on the lake at Ken’s where our boys learned to ski behind his Seadoo or Four Winds, invented paddle boarding on Ken’s sail board and learned some sailing on his sail boats. Ken was one of a kind and he held a special place in each member of our family’s hearts. I will remember his hearty laugh and his enthusiasm for life. We all will be missing him and we will never forget him.

I remember going to Uncle Kenny’s house playing for hours in the lake.
Especially the time he took all of us kids on his sailboat.We had so many fun times
at his place.He would just sit back and enjoy us all having fun.

Too many fun memories with Ken, his hearty laugh and endless enthusiasm and creativity in the name of fun will be greatly missed. Trips up to Canada were always a highlight of the summer: you never knew exactly what was in store, but it was going to be a blast. From the hastily sewed homemade tube “The Clam” to “Soul Football”, laughs were never in short supply. His one of a kind story telling and zest for life will always be remembered.

My Uncle Kenny was the best uncle a kid could have. Full of energy and fun. He had lots of fun stuff for us to play with at his house on the lake,.. a seadoo, a raft boat, skiis, tubes, kneeboards. Just all around run stuff! Thank you for the great memories! Forever in my heart and thoughts.
