Q: What will you miss most about Aurora "Rory"?
A: Being that Rory was my mothers life long best friend, Rory had been a major part in my life and everything in it. One thing i remember most is that no matter how many times i messed up, or no matter what mistakes i made in my life, she never treated me any different. Always spoke to me with love and support, never judged me on any of the mistakes i made, and always made me feel like i was going to be something. I knew i could tell her anything and she would love me no matter what. I remember many summers and family vacations with Rory Roger Scott and Jenifer, many BBQ's my wedding day, and many many more. You never think things like this will happen, that they will always be here, but then one day they are gone, and you cant get them back. The worst thing about getting older is watching those you love go before you.

Rory has been my best friend for 70 years. We grew up across the street from each other on Rossini Blvd. We had been best friends all our lives. The 4 houses on Rossini had enough kids to make 2 complete baseball teams. Our families were also great friends. As time passes, some friends go on with their own lives and you lose contact but Rory and I grew closer over the years, sharing in all family matters. Wedding, birthdays, births of our children were shared together by us both, and now in death I must learn to live without her. Goodbye my best friend, you are in my heart always.
