These three handsome fellows are but a few of the bears that Joyce handmade from pieces of material she bought for that purpose - the condo became the happy home of Joy's beautiful bear family . She was very talented and focused on her craft - I remember my Dad expressing surprise that she could pull the needle through the thick bear-material . It was difficult at times but I watched her many evenings as she lovingly put the finishing touches on each bear . When Joyce had completed a large number of beautiful bears , she donated them all to the Bank of Nova Scotia in Oshawa - the bank sold all these delightful bears for their Charity and made a good profit , all thanks to Joy . Dad and I just watched in administration and love . Thank you Joy for all those memorable days and evenings . BRENDA JOE
