Obituary of Anne Louise Jolie

JOLIE, Anne Louise (Adams) May 12, 1928 - September 9, 2022 Anne quietly passed away at age 94, at home and surrounded by family. Daughter of Thomas Vincent Adams and Beatrice (Chauvin) of McGregor, she was predeceased by J. Ernest Jolie, her husband of 68 years. She is survived by her children Suzanne Williams, Thomas, Philip and wife Carol, Simone and husband Joseph Kilpatrick, Sister Lise Jolie SNJM, Jennifer and husband Paul Kubinec, and Caroline Jolie. She was Grandma to Theresa, Thomas and James; Daniel; Jacob, Jennifer, Casey, Nathan and Kathryn; Matthew, Grace, Andrew and Rosemary. She is great-grandmother to twenty-five children and counting. Survived by sisters Patricia and Amelia, and predeceased by sister Jane. Anne, a devout Catholic, married shortly after graduation from Assumption College in 1948 and devoted herself to creating a loving household that welcomed and nourished generations of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Sisters of the Holy Names Refugee Fund. Memorial visitation will take place at Holy Name of Mary Church (711 McEwan Ave. Windsor) on October 15. 2022 at 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice (Dougall), 519-254-2585.
