I was so very proud to have had Aunt Mae as my godmother. She really took care of me for my birthdays by baking a banana cake for me every year. Doing that earned her the nickname of The Banana Cake Lady. We always has pleasant visits with her reminiscing about our past family history. She loved when I had the family get together in August to have everyone that could attend. She’ll definitely be sorely missed and I’ll especially miss her banana cake. Love you Auntie. Say hi to Mom, Uncle Norm and all the family. Have a game of euchre for me.

We say a sad goodbye to the last of our beautiful and wonderful previous generation. Aunt Mae inherited all of the wit and love that her family shared with everyone. Her love of family and humour was evident in everything she experienced. Her joy of life lasted throughout her many years. Auntie will be greatly missed. I extend my sincere condolences to her family, as Auntie is reunited with hers. From her favourite niece - Chris B
