Obituary of Greta Jean Penney

PENNEY, Greta Jean (nee White) September 24, 1942 - September 8, 2022 Passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on September 8, 2022. Greta was the cherished wife of the late Eric Penney. Beloved mother to Norman (Cheryl) and Steven (Raina). Proud grandma to Ian, Ryan, Morgan, and Anthony. Predeceased by her parents Roland and Margaret White, Uncle Ronald, and her sister Sadie Butler (Robye). Greta will also be dearly missed by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Greta was a member of the York Mt. Dennis Lions Club since its charter year of 1988. She worked in Nutrition Services for the Toronto District School Board for 22 years. As per Greta's wishes, cremation has taken place. A small family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada or to Lions Club International. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Dougall) 519-254-2585.
