Obituary of Cormier, Camille Joseph Laurie
It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Camille Joseph Laurie Cormier on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside and formerly of Le Chez-Nous, Wellington, at the age of 88 years. Camille was born June 5, 1934 and was the son of the late Henri Cormier and the late Émilienne Colette of Memramcook, N.B. and the husband of the late Emma (Arsenault) Cormier of St. Chrysostome, PEI.
He will forever be remembered by his loving children Ann M. Shaw (Michael), Gerard J. Cormier (Patti), Patricia Nancy Kidd (Joseph), sadly missed by brother and sisters Marie (Donald Clark), Joseph (Karen) Cormier, Marguerite (Gilbert) Blanchard and Catherine (late Antoine DeGrace) all of New Brunswick. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Mathew Kidd, Theresa Kidd, Billie Jo Tidwell, Jason Shaw, Jennifer MacDonald, Isaac Sunkes (Bridget), Alicia Titus (Kyle), Nicole Cormier, Danielle Davidson (Paul), Marie Cormier and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Camille is also survived by his brother-in-law Amand (Marguerite) and sisters-in-law Geralda (late Archie "Ceny" ) Gallant and by Rita (late Eddy) Arsenault.
Camille was predeceased by his parents Henri and Émilienne Cormier, by his brothers and sisters Thérèse, Léonard, Gérard, Donat, Antoine, Rita and Alphonse.
Funeral service for the late Camille Cormier will be held at a later date.
Donations in Camille's memory made to the St.-Philippe et St.-Jacques Church, Egmont Bay or to Évangéline Funeral Home would be greatly appreciated.
