Obituary of Wedge, Roy
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our brother Roy Wedge at the Brampton Civic Hospital, Brampton, ON with his loving and caring friend Lillian McKinley (Lil) by his side on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Roy was born in Summerside September 12, 1941 to the late Sylvere and Mary Louise Wedge.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted friend Lil, his daughter Cathy Ladda, his sisters and brothers Aldine (Alyre) Richard, Lillian, Anne (Lou) Inman, Cecile (Dave) Wedge, Dianne (Randy) Howard, Len (Gail) Aucoin and Adrien (Sherry) Wedge. Roy will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Emily and Matthew and by several nieces and nephews.
Roy was predeceased by his parents Sylvere and Mary Louise Wedge, his brothers Louis, Julien, Raymond and 5 siblings at a very young age.
Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 route 124, Urbainville. By his own personal wishes, there will be no visiting hours. Interment will take place at the Mont-Carmel Church Cemetery at a later date.
