Obituary of Richard, Maurice Jean-Paul

The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, January 13, 2023 of Maurice Jean-Paul Richard of Summerside and formerly of Mont-Carmel at the age of 66 years. He was the son of the late Emmanuel Richard and the late Antoinette (Gallant) Richard of Mont-Carmel. Maurice is survived by his loving brothers and sisters Doris (Louis) Arsenault, Ronald (Aline) Richard, Muriel (Roger) Arsenault, Juliette (Yvon) Gallant, Jean-Guy (Annette) Richard, Roger Richard, Nicole Richard, Zoel (Carol) Richard and Alain Richard (Colette). He will be sadly missed his brother-in-law Raymond Gallant and by several aunts, uncles and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Emmanuel and Antoinette Richard and by his sister Simone Gallant. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, PE for visitations on Wednesday, January 18 from 1 - 2:45 pm followed by a Celebration of his Life at 3 p.m. Interment in the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church cemetery will be held at a later date. Donations in Maurice's memory can be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or to the Diabetes Association or to a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
