Obituary of Keith William Appel

<p style="text-align:justify">Keith was born on Nov 1, 1967, in Regina, SK.&nbsp; After graduating from Melville Comprehensive School, Keith continued with secondary education at SIAST in Moose Jaw, but he was much happier driving and acquired his 1A license.&nbsp; He drove around the province with Midwest Coin and then worked for the RM of Grayson.&nbsp; Keith drove for both Kuntz Harvesting and Rieger Trucking hauling grain.&nbsp; He also drove for Dempsey Laird Trucking, the CO-OP, Engelheim Charters, and Hallcon Crew Transport. Keith also spent about 10 years with Univar Canada.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Keith enjoyed visiting with friends, watching the Saskatchewan Roughriders, travelling on holidays, playing guitar, cheering for his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, going to church, and playing with his dog, Bucky.&nbsp; Keith was a member of the Knights of Columbus of the Fourth Degree and was very proud of this accomplishment.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Keith met Donna Levasseur in late 2007.&nbsp; They were inseparable from that point forward.&nbsp; Keith and Donna were married in Grayson on July 30, 2011.&nbsp; They moved around a lot, but spent the majority of their time together living in Lanigan, SK.&nbsp; As retirement was approaching and Keith&rsquo;s health was declining, they decided to build a home in Moose Jaw that could accommodate mobility issues.&nbsp; Unfortunately, his disease progressed faster than anticipated and their time in the house was shorter than they expected.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Keith is predeceased by his mother, Marguerite (2004); his father, Harold (2023); and his only sibling, Cheryl (2019).&nbsp; Keith is also predeceased by his grandparents; uncles: Vern, Bill, Arnold, Walter, and Ed and aunties Barbara, Hazel, and Edna.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Keith is survived by his loving wife, Donna, as well as his Uncle Barry, Auntie Alvina, Auntie Freda, and numerous cousins.</p><p style="text-align:justify">In remembrance of Keith, donations may be made to Pioneer Lodge Visiting Space Project, c/o Pioneer Lodge 1000A Albert Street Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2Y2.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Arrangements have entrusted with Jones Parkview Funeral Home, Moose Jaw in co-operation with Bailey&#39;s Funeral Home, Melville, SK.</p>
