Obituary of Harry Hnylycia

<p>The family of Harry Hnylycia of Ituna sadly announce his passing on Friday, January 27, 2023. He was 85 years of age.</p><p>The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 6th at 10:00am from the Chapel of Bailey&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Ituna with Father Basil Malowany presiding.</p><p>The interment will follow in the Holy Ghost Parish Cemetery, Hubbard.</p><p>Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Ituna.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Hnylycia, Harry</strong></p><p style="text-align: center;"><strong>September 4, 1937 &ndash; January 27, 2023</strong></p><p>Harry Hnylycia, a kind, gentle man passed away in Yorkton Hospital on January 27, 2023.&nbsp;He was born September 4, 1937 on the family farm near Hubbard.&nbsp; He grew up farming with his Dad and brothers.&nbsp; Later on it was Harry and his brother Alec who farmed together for many years.&nbsp;Harry and Alec moved into an Independent Living house in the 1990&rsquo;s.&nbsp; After Alec&rsquo;s passing in 1995, Harry lived alone before moving into Saint Anne&rsquo;s assisted living home.&nbsp;Until his health deteriorated in recent years, he was known for strolling through town on almost a daily basis.&nbsp; He would visit the Credit Union, the Drugstore, the Post Office and have coffee with friends at the caf&eacute;.&nbsp;</p><p>Harry was the youngest of six brothers and five sisters.&nbsp; He was the last surviving member of his siblings.</p><p>Harry was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Tatiana; brothers William, Mike and Joe (Olga) Hnylycia, Nick (Elsie) Henlisia,&nbsp; Henry (Lucy) Henlisia and Alec Hnylycia; sisters Effie (Mike) Stacyszyn, Mary (Peter) Pazerniuk, Eva (Nick) Feduniw, Helen (Kurt) Burkert and Anne (Harry) Lashyn and baby Hnylycia in infancy.</p><p>Harry`s last resting place will be the cemetery by the Church of the Holy Ghost near Hubbard.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
