I have great memories of my aunty Shirley, even though we were miles apart, she always made it special when we were together. As a small girl, our families did a lot of camping together, swimming, boating, and I always loved that aunty wore these bright colourful hats on her head. I later found out that they were swimming caps.
She always showed her affection to my family, Glen feels that she really liked him. And she did. But we share with our girls, Brianne and Karli, how she always stood with her hands on her hips, waiting for us to come to her for the hugs, if not at her front door, at the campsite, or family reunions, she was always waiting for us, and we loved that about her.
I am proud that my girls and their families were always accepted, and felt her love…even if they ran past her,to hug Uncle Bob first.
We will miss her greatly.
