Some of the fondest memories of my youth are the ones I have of summers spent on my auntie Jean and uncle Nicks farm. The carefree days with Debbie,Tracy and Wendy will be forever etched in my memory and my heart. I love you all, and I†™ll never forget what truly beautiful people Nick and Jean were. God bless you girls and your families, and may you find peace in knowing your Mom and Dad are together forever in the kingdom of Heaven..
Love Ricky

Some of my fondest memories growing up have been hot summer days on the farm with Auntie Jean, Uncle Nick, the girls and their families. Auntie Jean loved with her whole heart and cared for every member of her extended family as if they were her own children. Later in life having the opportunity to bring my husband, and then my daughter to Yorkton to meet Auntie Jean will forever be memories I hold close to my heart. Miss you today, and everyday to come auntie.

Q: What will you miss most about Jean?
A: There are many things that I will miss about auntie Jean, but the first thing that I always think of is her smile. Her smile was infectious and always made you feel welcome and loved.
We would travel most summers from Lethbridge to Yorkton to visit as many family members as possible (there are many !) but most of all myself and my family looked forward to and so enjoyed our visit with Auntie Jean.
I loved catching up on everything we were crafting or cross-stitching and discussing all of our aches and pains ! We had a long list of those to talk
about ! Many years ago we had many wonderful visits on Auntie Jean†™s and Uncle Nick†™s farm, enjoying beautiful summer days and amazing meals. Auntie Jean and the girls always went over and above ! We also loved lazy, laid back visits sitting outside on lawn chairs while my kids were running back and forth to the barn catching a cat or two (one in particular †œ Shelly cat †œ)
I will miss this wonderful lady so much 💞

Aunt Jean was a loving, kind lady who embodied the gift of hospitality. As a 16 year old city slicker from Toronto, I spent a few days helping her and Nick with harvest although I†™m not sure how much help I was. After a hard days work, she would put on a delicious supper meal that befit a king even after a hard day on the fields herself. I will always remember spending that precious time with her, Nick and their little girls. Rest in peace aunt Jean. â¤ï¸
