My deepest sympathy to all of Trevor's Family
Living in Vancouver I would do the yearly visit to my Brother (John) ever since John and Trevor /Carolyn were neighbours.
Trevor, a man of many words, a Vehicle Maintenance Men, a Chief and a Highly Skilled Wood Worker. We did exchange food ideas and the art of his skillful, precise wood working hobby. I learned a lot as I spent considerable time in his shop. I took the opportunity to be present in Saskatoon at the McNally Robinson Book Store when my Brother John presented his book: Mudeater. After the presentation I did meet more of Trevor's Family as they shared more stories.
Trevor's life's work well done, may he rest in peace.

Trevor was my good neighbour and friend. What stands out most in my memory is his generosity, his willingness to help everyone. I considered myself fortunate to have a mechanic and a woodworker next door. His ingenuity enabled him to solve all sorts of problems and his skill in carpentry was revealed in his striving for perfection. I watched as he patiently, carefully, built rocking chairs and other items.
Trevor was very proud of his great-grandfather, Robert Armstrong, the man who apprehended Louis Riel after the battle at Batoche in 1885. He confided that many did not believe him when told this story. It was a pleasure for me to research and write the story of Robert Armstrong aka Irvine Mudeater and have Trevor remark, †œNow they believe me†.

I have one of Trevor†™s chairs that he made me. Instead of my name I got two words he whispered in my ear. He asked me why those two and I told him the reason. I also told him when the time comes that he†™s not on this earth I can sit in it and remember I†™m always …. Those two words. Trevor you will be greatly missed. Having a two finger shot of vodka for you sir.
My deepest sympathies to the family. He was an amazing man with the best smile and soul

Our deepest condolences to Carolyn, Tyler and Joleen and all of their extended families. Trevor was a kind, thoughtful and genuine person who's friendship I treasured very much. He will live on in the stories and jokes he told, the vehicles he repaired and all the woodworking creations he made. He will truly be missed.
