I m so sorry Launa to hear that Bob died. I just heard about his death last Friday at my brother Jack†™s funeral. We†™ve lost two guys much too soon. I†™m ever so thankful to have had a wonderful conversation with both of you in September. I told Bob that all of us had a crush on him growing up in Ebenezer. I was about 10-11 when Bob was one of the premiere goalies in the SJHL. I wanted to be as good as Bob, but sadly never attained his level. And then at age 27, I joined Kinsmen, and I got to meet Bob. We went on to play together for The Kinsmen, The K-40'S, plus The Miller's. As Ducky Anderson said, many fond memories. Sincere condolences to Bob's entire family and all his friends. I will cherish the memory of our times together. As the Kinsmen song says, 'Friends, the finest in the land.' Respectfully, Ken Pilon

I first met Bob when working at Yorkton concrete years ago, then played hockey against him and enjoyed some rounds of golf as well

Launa and family please accept my deepest sympathies on the passing of Bob. I always considered Bob a very good friend. Many fond memories of Bob as a Kinsmen buddy and especially the many times we played hockey together and the "Perogie Cup". Those were very good times.
