Obituary of Herbert George Fuchs
<p style="text-align:justify">Herbert Fuchs passed away peacefully on October 21, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital, Melville, Sk. He was born March 22, 1940 to Frank and Pauline (Exner) at the family farm.</p><p style="text-align:justify">On March 19th, 1966 he married Sylvia Yuzik. They were blessed with three children, Michelle, Dean and Dana. They lived on their family farm until 1974. The family moved to Melville and Herbie became a carpenter contractor. He built their family home in which they raised their children. Herbie and Sylvia enjoyed visiting with family and friends, going for coffee and dancing.</p><p style="text-align:justify">A few years after Sylvia’s passing Herbie met Della Szilagyi. They lived in Melville. After they both retired in 2000 they enjoyed travelling. Later they spent their time between Della’s family farm home in Kipling and Herbie’s home in Melville. They enjoyed the Kipling Senior card games, Red Market Barn and attending church.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Throughout the years Herbie loved playing baseball and broomball, golfing, dancing and playing cards. One of his favorite pastimes was collecting and organizing “special treasures” for his garage museum.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Herbie was known for his infectious smile and witty sense of humor. No one was a stranger to him as he loved to talk to everyone.</p><p style="text-align:justify">He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia, his parents Frank and Pauline, brothers Walter, Bill, Ernie and sister Carolyn Haas, brothers-in-law Trowgert Radies, Jack Haas and Arnold Banga.</p><p style="text-align:justify">He leaves to cherish his memory his loving partner Della; his children Michelle Bundas (Bailey, Shaylee), Dean, Dana Johnson/Justin Frazier (Dylan, Brielle, Levi, Jaden); brother Raymond/Velma, sisters Evelyn Radies and Mary Banga; sisters-in-law, Gail, Eileen and Lorraine; Della’s children, Floyd (Emma, Kate), Allan/Helen (Tyler, Kendall [Sophia, Carlos]); and many nieces, nephews and friends.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Herbie’s children greatly appreciate and are so very grateful for the love and care that Della has given to Dad especially during the past few months.</p><p style="text-align:justify">We will miss you, but are comforted to know you are at peace and you will remain in our hearts, always loved and never forgotten. Rest in Peace.</p>
