Obituary of Cindy Kozak

<p style="text-align: justify;">The family of Cindy Kozak of Yorkton, beloved wife of Randy Kozak sadly announce her passing on September 20, 2022. She was 63 years of age.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Cindy Kozak (Zbeetneff) lost her battle with cancer on September 20, 2022 with family by her side. Cindy was born October 4, 1958 in Langenburg, Sk. Her younger years were spent in Canora, Sk., graduating in 1978 from Canora Composite High School. She also took part in ballet at a young age.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Cindy met Randy Kozak in 1983 and they married on November 17, 1984 in Yorkton. Their first home was in Insinger, SK. and she enjoyed bringing meals to Randy while he farmed in the area. Cindy loved to garden and had beautiful flowers everywhere. She especially had a special place in her heart for animals, mostly cats and dogs. Her favorite cats were Crystal and Fluffy. Randy and Cindy&rsquo;s faith in God was a big part of their life.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">One favorite hobby in her earlier years was drawing landscape scenes and they looked quite professional. Christmas was Cindy&rsquo;s favorite holiday and decorations came from many sources with good imagination on her part. Family gatherings and friendships were a big part of her life. Randy and Cindy enjoyed many Yorkton Terrier Hockey games over the years.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Cindy was predeceased by her wonderful grandparents, her father Larry and father-in-law Alex Kozak. Left to celebrate her life is her husband Randy, her mother Jean, mother-in-law Mary Kozak, brother Michael (Helga), sister-in-law Betty Nickolayou, nephews Mark (Raissa) and their children Auckland, Chase, Hutton and Illia and Corwin Nickolayou, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. May she rest in peace.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The Funeral Service was held on Monday, September 26, 2022 from Prairie Harvest Christian Life Centre, Yorkton, Saskatchewan with Pastor Des Klingspon officiating. Music shared was &ldquo;I Need Thee Every Hour&rdquo; and &ldquo;I Can Only Imagine&rdquo;. The interment followed in the Garden of Gethsemane, Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Greg Lenuik, Kevin Korol, Garry Ostafie, Brook Andres, Mark Nickolayou and Grant Goodson serving as casket bearers.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Memorials in memory of Cindy may be made to Paws & Claws Pet Rescue Box 1047, Yorkton, SK S3N 2X3 or to a Charity of Ones&#39; Choice as gfts of remembrance.</p>
