Obituary of Louanna Boyce
<p>BOYCE - Louanna Winnifred Boyce passed away September 12, 2022 at Simon Fraser Lodge in Prince George, B.C. with family by her side. She was 92 years of age. She was born in Vancouver but spent her school and early working years in Alberta. In the 1960’s Lou and her 4 boys moved to Yorkton where she was the Regional Manager for Avon Canada. Here she met and married Evert Boyce. She continued to work in Yorkton at the Sheltered Workshop, Yorkton Lumber and Leons Manufacturing. After retirement Mom and Dad spent their winters in Desert Hot Springs and their summers in Yorkton travelling to visit family and friends. Mom enjoyed playing bridge and visiting with her friends at the Madison Condo. Mom was a strong, determined lady whose family meant everything to her. When her health began to fail she moved to Prince George to be close to her son, Jerry and Debbie. She is predeceased by her father, Rupert Harris; husband, Evert Boyce; sons: Blair, Trevor and Kevin; great granddaughter, Rebecca Shukin. She is survived by her son, Jerry Mickey (Debbie); step daughter, Lorna Boyce (Allan Bear); step sons: Tim and Graham Boyce; grandchildren: Shaun Mickey (Kerri), Chelsea Prangnell (Mike), Terri Corney (Jeff Torgrimson), Tracy Kerluke (Arnold), Sarah, Zachary and Lucas Boyce; 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Cremation has taken place, a family memorial will be held at a future date.</p>
